You've Never Had It So Good

Probably. Find out how far up (or down) the rich-list you are with Channel 4's Rich-o-meter.

I, however, have had it significantly better. It's not hard to beat my current earning level, but I was surprised to see that even by today's standards I was well withing the top 3% when I worked at Microsoft.

Hmmm. I'm not well within the top 3 percent. I'm well not within it infact. But then, techers do it for the love of kiddies. T'would be nice though.

Pity it doesn't take debt into account too .. might be a more realistic measure of 'richness' (or otherwise!).

Sad state of afairs that someone can be within the top 14% of earners and yet still struggle to pay a mortgage on a modest 2-bed semi ..!

It must be skewed by all the kids and the retired... if not then I feel really sorry for the 50% of the population who earn less than £5000 a year!
