Interesting Things on the Internet: September 7th 2015
- Five years, building a culture, and handing it off. Fantastic post about building a tech company's culture, from Etsy's (now former, presumably) CTO.
- Blinded by technology: has our belief in Silicon Valley led the world astray? Turns out technology isn't going to solve all our problems. Who knew?
- Tech nerds are smart. But they can't seem to get their heads around politics. US-focused, but most of it applies to the UK too, and follows nicely from the last link.
- Developer inequality and the technical debt crisis.
- Refugees. A summary of links for more info and how you can help with the refugee crisis, from a good friend of mine. He's been over to Jordan a couple of times to help out.
This blog post is on the personal blog of Adrian McEwen. If you want to explore the site a bit further, it might be worth having a look at the most recent entries or look through the archives or categories over on the left.
